The handles have mounting holes 3-1/4 inch on center. The steel latch is 2-3/8 inch long with a 11/16 inch projection and slides up and down to engage the keeper (Prime-Line part A 148, not included). Housing and sliding lock tab come in a durable black plastic that is corrosion resistant with a zinc plated steel latch

All the necessary mounting hardware is included for a complete installation
