How To:

Replace a Drawer Roller Edge Track

Before You Begin



The instructions are intended to be used to replace a "Rolled Edge" track system, model R 7125.



This is a top-mounted track, meaning the drawer will hang from the top of this track.



NOTE: 22 1/2" long tack may be cut down to fit shorter drawer applications.



You will need the following tools for the installation:



  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Level
  • Hammer
  • Pliers
  • Hacksaw
  • Miter box

Step 1.



Mount the front roller brackets as shown. Press spurs into wood and fasten with screws.

Step 2.



Position the glide at the center of the back of the drawer with the locator tabs pressed firmly to the drawer base. Attach with staples or nails.

Step 3.



Locate the back plate at the rear of the cabinet in the center of the drawer opening. Attach with staples or nails.

Step 4.



The drawer track can be attached to the drawer jamb with front plate as shown or directly to the jamb. Use staples or nails to attach the front plate to the jamb.

Your installation is finished and your ready to start using your drawer again!
