Each bracket features a 1/4 inch inside dimension floor fastening hole and fourteen 3/16 inch inside dimension optional height fastening holes. These hurricane straps are designed to secure vulnerable, free-standing condenser units to solid ground (or hurricane pads) to withstand high hurricane and tropical storm winds. Securing free-standing condenser units help to prevent damage to costly HVAC systems, or other property damage and injury.
