It can be used to reinforce and repair metal, fiberglass and wood doors. Constructed of stainless steel, the lock reinforcer plate comes in a stainless steel finish. All the necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation. The lock reinforcement plate is pre-punched for mounting. The reinforcer is designed for snug fit on a 1-3/4 inch thick doors that have mortise or drive-in latches. Measuring 4-5/16 inch wide by 4-1/2 inch tall, the reinforcement plate will covers previously drilled bore holes on your door. The door reinforcer will sit flush on your door where the door latch area is damaged.
