Patio Door Handles

Sliding door handles seamlessly integrate into a patio door, providing a comfortable grip to slide the door open or closed. Each handle comes in a variety of styles, including mortise, surface mount, and pull.

Surface Mount Hook Latch Handle

A surface-mount hook latch handle has a surface-mounted latch with a hook mechanism that extends beyond the latch housing and into a keeper attached to the jamb. Some models offer anti-lift bars, which help to prevent unauthorized lifting and removal of doors.

The surface clamp latch handle has a surface-mounted latch with a clamping mechanism that projects beyond the latch housing and clamps to the extruded lip on the jamb.

Flush Mount Latch Handle

The flush mount latch handle consists of an outside pull and an inside pull with a latching mechanism attached. The patio door frame is notched on both sides to allow both pulls to fit flush to the frame. The hook-type latch is located within the door frame and secures the door to the jamb by means of a jamb keeper.

Mortise Latch Handle

The mortise latch handle consists of an outside pull and an inside handle with a latch-activating lever. The mortise latch style is used in conjunction with a mortise latching mechanism that is supplied separately. Various style mechanisms are available. The mortise latch fits into a notch in the leading edge of the door, and the activating lever engages the keyway to activate the hook latch.

Pull Handle

The pull handle is made for use with most flush lock systems. Unlike other kinds of patio handles, the pull handle has a fixed grip that's meant for pushing or pulling the door open or closed. There are various styles of pull handles, and they are usually built with diecast materials or wood.
